Summer Love

  1. A posting which hits its stride with the 6th, the first sociable frame, and doesn't flag thereafter, concluding with a gorgeous flourish. Frames 6, 10, 11, 14, 15, and 17 are very fine.

And what do You think, C?

  2. They are great photos, and the order they are in seems to fall right in place. For me, it did take me back to a summer a long time ago.

I never had a summer romance.

But, there was a summer I spent a lot of time with my cousin. We were going to paint the outside of the house, but every time we were together, once a week, it rained.

He was my cousin, so I couldn't act out on my feelings, and I doubt if he ever realized how ga-ga I was over him. But I was. I wanted to be just like him. It's hardly what anyone would call a summer romance, but for me in its odd, queer way--it was.

Time went on; he changed, I changed, and then I changed some more. It's been years since we've seen each other. Now that I'm out, and he's found "religion", I doubt if either one of us would see eye to eye. You would think that we could at least be friends, but I know for a fact that it's impossible.

    Life is so complicated.

  3. Starts out first with the longing being alone then the glance, the meeting and then the summer romance.
