We have to be encouraged by the resiliency projected from this disappointment -- not as a betrayal, but as a handsome deference to his host's guest list. That said, without a BM disability, I'd have locked #8 in the wine cellar for the balance of the evening, with instructions to John to prepare a late supper for 2 in the Pauillac section.
I think an '82 with the venison, John, and a '61 to take upstairs.
